Came and delivered. Absolutely amazing!
They were lively, energetic, song so beautifully and breathtaking. All of our guests wanted to know were we found them. My husband was most of all pleased with my decision. I will definitely be hiring them next year for our house warming party. Highly recommended! -
Brilliant - wedding band !!!!!!!
The Upstarts played at our wedding and everyone commented on how great they were. The music kept everyone on the dance floor from 8-12pm. People commented to me that they just couldn’t sit down!! Jake was also really helpful on the run up to the big day asking what we would like for our first dance and any requests for during the night -

After our original wedding band cancelled on us last minute we luckily managed to find this amazing band who absolutely blew our original band out of the water! The guys really got the party going and all of our guests commented on how amazing they were. Thank you so much for making our wedding day extra special. Yous were fabulous! -
People danced who I thought never would!
The Upstarts played our wedding on 10.9.21 and were excellent from the get go. From the day we booked, communication was superb. The first dance that the band learned for us was performed beautifully. The whole set list was crafted beautifully. There are several moments what we will never forget, thanks to the band. They got everyone up, through their charisma, excellent musical ability and a real understanding of their audience. Thanks for everything guys, you were a delight. -
Absolutely spot on very professional
Nice guys very professional everyone at our wedding really loved the band some guests that don’t even like live music commented on how brilliant they were. I’m so glad we picked the upstarts and would recommend to anyone. -
Everything that is good about a wedding band
The Upstarts played at our wedding in North Yorkshire and were everything we had hoped for and more! On the day they had people up and dancing from the sound check, they definitely brought the party with their enthusiasm. So many guests have commented about how great they were and how much they enjoyed them, so they are highly recommended not just by us but by the whole 100+ wedding, especially our relative who was invited for an impromptu cameo performance! -
The perfect band for our perfect day!
The Upstarts were amazing from start to finish. Even before the wedding day they messaged and phoned a few days before the wedding to confirm all the last minute details. There were certain songs I didn’t want playing and they were happy to accommodate this too. We had the acoustic duo play during our wedding breakfast and they were fabulous, playing a range of slow tempo and mellow songs to fit the tone and atmosphere during that part of the day. In the evening, the band were incredible! They played a wide range of songs from Stevie Wonder to Justin Timberlake. They managed to get even our more reluctant guests up on the dance floor and so many people came over to say ‘this band are amazing’. After they finished, we demanded an encore to which the band played Oasis. They made our evening reception even more fun than we imagined. Thank you to all The Upstart boys for making our day so fun and memorable. If you are considering hiring them for your wedding day or special occasion - just do it, you will not regret it! -

Fantastic group and great set of lads. The dance floor was always busy and played a great range of songs. Thank you to the upstarts and I would definitely recommend to anyone and would use again in the future -
What a way to fill the dance floor!
The Upstars were fantastic! The dance floor was filled for the entire evening as people couldn’t tear themselves away. They got everyone involved and kept the tunes coming from every decade to draw people of all ages in. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a band for their wedding - thank you so much! -
We were blown away with how good The Upstarts were at our wedding
The music was brilliant and their interaction with the audience was far above what I was expecting, creating such a fun atmosphere for the whole evening. So many of our guests were complimenting the band all night. Everyone kept asking where I had seen the band live before as no one could believe we'd just booked it online and got such a good band. Would highly recommend The Upstarts for your wedding.
